Kassem Mosse - Workshop 12

A1 - Track 1
B1 - Track 2
B2 - Track 3

"The master of modern, abstract and deeply arresting House & Techno drops his third 12" for Workshop - the home of his very best releases. The longer A-side is something special; a mesmerizing piece of decepetively raw, bass-boosted and noirish House music with trapped loops of tension raising Hermann-esque strings, cyber-sensual vox and creepy, half-heard nuance. The flip is built to jack, deep styles, one track deploying depressed square bass cloaked in hovering twilight synth, and a last gasp of tumultuous deep space techno drama." Boomkat

Braiden - The Alps (Kassem Mosse Fix) - Doldrums DLDRMS003

a1 The Alps
b1 The Alps (Kassem Mosse Fix)

"Some more fresh house slammers following the gone in a flash Joy Orbison 12" on the label. The more clued up among you might be familiar with Braiden from his sets on Rinse FM. Here he offers up a full fat stomper with pitched down male vocal, female cut up vocal, rolling big ass bassline and ace funky percussion. It breaks down midway with some cheeky edits and massive booming congas then back in for some heads down partying. Workshop man Kassem Moss drops by for some remix action on the flip, working a dark house groove with prominent hi-hats and dubby chords. Slowly building, it gets properly going mid-way with cow bells and such. Both tunes are once again supreme examples of high quality forward thinking house music." Norman

Alveol - Glitter Path - Mule Electronic 76

2 - Glitter Path ( Kassem Mosse Remix)
3 - Mariposa

"Mule actually received these music from terre thaemlitz aka dj sprinkles. he said “very nice house music,it’s sound like a fusion of dj sprinkles & kuniyuki”. a side, “glitter path” is dubby and atmospheric deep house sound. b side, new star of deep house scene “kasse mosse” remixed the “glitter path”. it’s more playful and mixable version. “mariposa” is melancholic stuff which remind the sound of larry heard or lawrence." Kassem Mosse - EP5 - Kinda Soul - KSR005

1 - 2D
2 - Thalassocalyce
3 - Demo Drums Ripping Demos

"The ever-reliable Kassem Mosse impresses with three tracks for Italy's Kinda Soul Recordings - home to releases from Jus-Ed, Scott Ferguson and Rick Wade. It's hard to pick a highlight from these sublime efforts. A-side '2D' would be the obvious choice with its plaintively captivating lead synth and engrossing arrangements imbued with the same addictive qualities as his Workshop 08 12" or 'Aqueous Haze' 12", but then you encounter the snapping Deep House/Electro groove of 'Thalassocalyce' embroidered with the most gorgeous Detroit motifs, and the killer slo-mo echoic throb of 'Demo Drums Ripping Demos'. Fuck it. They're all killer and worth the immediate attention of any self-respecting techno fiend." Boomkat

Kassem Mosse & Lowtec - Workshop EP - Laid Records 07

A - Kassem Mosse - Untitled
B - Lowtec - Used Me (Laid Remix)

"For its seventh release, the Dial sub-label Laid has commissioned a split 12″ from Berlin’s lauded Workshop family, granting Kassem Mosse and Lowtec one side each. One assumes the two labels share much of the same fan base and so the EP’s outsourcing is a little perplexing. Regardless, both tracks are predictably emblematic of Workshop’s dusty, narcotic take on experimental house." Little White Earbuds
