"Chicago-born Delano Smith grew up at Detroit, and he is well-known for being one of those leading artists from Motown on playing house. It’s during the eighties where he owns his skills as a DJ, one of the best from Detroit as well. He stopped playing in the nineties because of some personnal interests but shaped the break while some promoters asked him to sign releases. 2002 is the milestone year for his arrival on the production scene and soon released his first two 12″ as the first from Mixmode Recordings, created by Tony Foster and himself.
